Dear Comrade Huysmans,

Many thanks for your kind letter. I shall pass on your reply to our comrades in Russia, and I hope that they will soon send you the remainder of our report. As for the payment of 1,600 frs., I may assure you that the Central Committee of our Party will pay this sum, most likely [not later] than within a few....[1]

[The plenary meeting of the Central Committee] has been called,[2] and I am obliged to await its decision. The money will assuredly be paid without delay.
