Sectional Presses of the International Communist League (Fourth Internationalist), formerly the international Spartacist tendency
United States
Campus Spartacist – Published occasionally by various campus fractions and clubs of the Spartacist League/U.S. in New York City, the Bay Area and Austin. There were ten mostly non-numbered issues from 1965 to 1974. The Spartacist League of Australia and New Zealand also produced a series of ten unnumbered undated issues of Campus Spartacist. Cuadernos Marxistas – Spanish-language journal published by the Spartacist League/U.S. Produced four issues from 1965 to 1977 which retroactively became the first four issues of Spartacist (Spanish edition). [Continued with Spartacist (Spanish edition) ].
Espartaco – Spanish-language publication of the Spartacist League/U.S. Ran for only three issues from 1966 to 1967. Not to be confused with the current sectional press of the Mexican Spartacist section. [Discontinued].
Der Klassenkampf (Spartakist) – German-language publication of the Spartacist League/U.S. Ran for five issues from 1967 to 1968, in two volumes; four in volume one, one in volume two. [Discontinued].
G.I. Voice Houston, TX. 1969-1970.Transitional paper for American troops going to Vietnam occasionally put out by the Spartacist League/U.S. Ran for six numbered issues, as well as an issue No. 0 from 1969 to 1970. [Discontinued].
Red Flag – Regional publication published by the New Orleans Spartacist League. Conceived of as a precursor to Spartacist South. Ran only one issue in 1967. [Discontinued].
Revolutionary Marxist Caucus Newsletter New York City. 1970-1971. National organ of the Revolutionary Marxist Committee of Students for a Democratic Society, the Spartacist League/U.S. fraction within SDS. It ran eight issues from 1970 to 1971. The first six were mimeographed sheets and the final two were tabloid periodicals. When the Revolutionary Marxist Caucus left SDS, it became the Revolutionary Communist Youth and the name of the newspaper changed accordingly. Revolutionary Communist Youth Newsletter New York City. 1971-1973. Organ of the youth section of the Spartacist League/U.S., the Revolutionary Communist Youth. Published bi-monthly. Continuance from Revolutionary Marxist Caucus Newsletter. Continued as issue No. 9 (whole) and ran to issue No. 19 from 1971 to 1973, when the organization changed its name to the Spartacus Youth League. [Continued with Young Spartacus].
Spartacist New York City. 1964-present. Published by the expelled Revolutionary Tendency of the Socialist Workers Party. Became the organ of Spartacist, later known as the Spartacist League. Became the theoretical journal after the launch of the new official Spartacist League/U.S. organ, Workers Vanguard. Became the publication of the international Spartacist tendency, later the International Communist League (Fourth Internationalist), published by the Central Executive Committee. Appears in four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German). The English edition began in 1964, the Spanish edition began in 1965 (as Cuadernos Marxistas), the French edition began in 1974, and the German edition began in 1974. A single Italian issue was published in 1975. [Ongoing].

Spartacist East New York City. 1966-1969. Regional publication published occasionally by the New York Spartacist League. Ran only three issues from 1968-1969. [Discontinued].
Spartacist South – Regional publication published occasionally by the New Orleans Spartacist League. Ran only one issue in 1968. [Discontinued].
Spartacist West – City Regional publication published occasionally by the Bay Area Spartacist League, ran for eighteen issues from 1966 to 1970. [Discontinued].
Women and Revolution New York City. 1971-present. Spartacist publication oriented toward the discussion of the role of women and the revolutonary party
Workers Action Emeryville, Ca. 1968-1971. First newspaper of the Spartacist League in the U.S.
Workers Vanguard New York City. 1971-present. Official organ of the Spartacist League [On-going].
Young Spartacus New York City. 1972-1986. Organ of the Spartacus Youth League, youth section of the Spartacist League/U.S. Continuance from the Revolutionary Communist Youth Newsletter. Continued from issue No. 20 (whole) to issue No. 134, the final issue, from 1973 to 1986. Young Spartacus pages were then incorporated into Workers Vanguard. Both the paper and youth groupÕs names were taken from the youth organization and paper of the Communist League of America (Left Opposition) in the 1930s. [Discontinued].
Labor Black League for Social Defense Newsletter – Newsletter periodically put out by the Labor Black League for Social Defense, a transitional organization initiated by and fraternally allied to the Spartacist League/U.S. Various Labor Black League branches, usually affiliated to Spartacist League/U.S. locals, put out their own local newsletters, including New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, and the Bay Area. Australasian Spartacist – Publication of the Spartacist League/Australia (originally known as the Spartacist League of Australia and New Zealand). The first six issues were mimeographed sheets, from issue No. 7 onwards it appeared as a tabloid newspaper. Ran from 1973 to the present. [Ongoing].
Britain
Workers Hammer London. Publication of the Spartacist League/Britain, continuance of Spartacist Britain, beginning with issue No. 61 (whole). Ran from 1986 to the present. [Ongoing].
Spartacist Britain – Publication of the Spartacist League/Britain. Produced sixty issues from 1978 to 1984. [Continued with Workers Hammer].
Canada
Spartacist [CCiSt] – Publication of the Canadian Committee for the international Spartacist Tendency. Continuance of Spartacist Canada. Began with issue No. 9 (whole) to No. 13 in 1975. [Discontinued].
Spartacist Canada – Publication of the Trotskyist League of Canada/Ligue trotskyste du Canada. Ran from 1975 to the present. [Ongoing].
Chinese
Spartacist [Chinese] – Chinese-language publication put out by the Spartacist tendency on China and key documents pertaining to it. Produced eight issues from 1999 to 2007. [Ongoing].
French
Le Bolchevik – Publication of the Ligue trotskyste de France [Trotskyist League of France]. Ran from 1976 to the present. [Ongoing].
German
Spartakist – German but published in New York City. 1974-1980. Publication of the Spartakist-Arbeiterpartei Deutschlands [Spartakist Workers Party of Germany], formerly the Trotzkistische Liga Deutschlands [Trotskyist League of Germany]. Continuance of Kommunistische Korrespondenz. Began with issue No. 31 (whole). Ran from 1980 to the present. [Ongoing].
Spartakist Arbeiterpressekorrespondenz – Publication of the Spartakist Gruppen der Deutschland (Spartakist Groups of Germany), in East Germany. Ran for thirty issues from 1989 to 1990. The Spartakist Gruppen fused with the Trotzkistische Liga Deutschlands to form the Spartakist-Arbeiterpartei Deutschlands. [Discontinued].
Kommunistische Korrespondence – 1974-1980. Publication of the Trotzkistische Liga Deutschlands [Trotskyist League of Germany]. Ran for thirty issues from 1974 to 1980. [Continued with Spartakist].

Spartacist [Greek] – Publication of the Trotskyist Group of Greece. Ran from 2001 to the present .[Ongoing].

Spartacist Japan – Publication of the Spartacist Group of Japan. Ran from 1982 to the present. [Ongoing].
Iranian/Farsi
Spartacist [Farsi] – Farsi-language publication put out by the Spartacist tendency in the late 1970s on issues of the overthrow of the Shah, the role of Islamism in the protests, Iran-Iraq War, and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Ran for eight issues, undated. [Discontinued].
Ireland
Spartacist Ireland – Publication of the Dublin Spartacist Youth Group (later known as the Spartacist Group of Ireland). Produced eight issues from 2002 to 2005. [Ongoing].
Italian
Spartaco – Publication of the Lega trotskista d'Italia [Trotskyist League of Italy]. Ran from 1980 to the present. [Ongoing].
Hebrew
Spartacist [Hebrew] – Publication of the Spartacist League of Israel (also known as the Spartacist Nucleus of Israel). Ran for six (?) issues from 1973 to 1974. [Discontinued].
Mexico/Spanish
Espartaco – Publication of the Grupo Espartaquista de Mˇexico [Spartacist Group of Mexico]. Ran from 1990 to the present. [Ongoing].

Platforma Spartakusowc—w – Publication of the Spartakusowska Grupa Polski [Spartacist Group of Poland]. Ran from 1990 to the present. [Ongoing].

Byulleten' Spartakovtsev – Publication of Moscow Station. Ran from 1990 to the present. [Ongoing].

Spartacist South Africa – Johannesburg. 2001-2007 – Ran from 2001 to the present. [Ongoing].
Sri Lanka
Lanka Spartacist – Sinhalese-language publication of the Spartacist League/Lanka (later known as the Spartacist Group of India/Lanka). Produced thirteen numbered issues from 1981 to 1988. [Discontinued].
Illangai Spartacist – Tamil-language publication of the Spartacist League/Lanka (later known as the Spartacist Group of India/Lanka). Produced three numbered issues from 1982 to 1983. [Discontinued].
Swedish
Spartakist [Swedish] – Publication of Stockholm Station. Only produced two numbered issues in 1982. [Discontinued].
Spartacist Pamphlet and Bulletin Series
Marxist Bulletins – Bulletin series produced by the Spartacist League/U.S. on the key documents and history of the Revolutionary Tendency of the Socialist Workers Party and then later of the Spartacist League/U.S. The series ran from No. 1 to No. 10 (some in several parts) but No. 6 in the series was never produced (nor was the third of four parts for No. 3) from 1965 to 1971. Women and Revolution – Originally billed as The Newspaper of Revolutionary Women’s Liberation, with issue No. 3 it became a Spartacist League affiliated publication, becoming the Journal of the WomenÕs Commission of the Spartacist League/U.S. with issue No. 4. It ran for 45 issues from 1971 to 1996. Now continued on the back pages of Spartacist. [Discontinued].
Revolutionary Communist Bulletins – Bulletin series produced by the Spartacist League of Australia and New Zealand on the Australian left. Ran nine bulletins (one in two parts) from 1972 to 1981. [Discontinued].
Young Communist Bulletins – Bulletin series produced by the Spartacus Youth League of material of interest to the revolutionary youth movement in America. Ran three bulletins from 1973 to 1976. [Discontinued].
Marxist Studies Series – Irregularly produced series of material deemed of interest to the Marxist movement. Produced eight bulletins numbered No. 1 to No. 9 (one issue was double-numbered) from 1973 to 2003. [Discontinued].
Hate Trotskyism, Hate the Spartacist League – A bulletin series of opponent material containing documents by and polemics with various opponent organizations of the Spartacist League, published by the Spartacist League/U.S. Ran for twelve issues from 1975 to 1999. [Status Unknown].
Revolutionary Trotskyist Bulletins – Bulletin series produced by the Trotskyist League of Canada on the history of the Trotskyist movement in Canada. Produced three bulletins (one in two parts) from 1976 to 1978. [Discontinued].
Kleine Bibliothek der Kommunistischen Korrespondenz Š Bulletin series produced by the Trotzkistische Liga Deutschlands [Trotskyist League of Germany] of German translations of articles by Leon Trotsky. Produced three issues in 1976. [Discontinued].
Spartacist Bulletins – Bulletin series produced by the Spartacist League/Australia on issues on the Australian left and workers movement. Produced two unnumbered bulletins from 1978 to 1980. [Discontinued].
Black History and the Class Struggle – Pamphlet series published by the Spartacist League/U.S. on the nature of black oppression in the United States. Ran from 1983 to the present. [Ongoing].
Class Struggle Defense Notes – Publication of the Partisan Defense Committee, a non-sectarian, class-struggle legal and social defense organization which champions cases and causes in the interest of the whole of the working people. This purpose is in accordance with the political views of the Spartacist League. Ran from 1986 to the present. [Ongoing].
Prometheus Research Series – Series of bulletins published by the Prometheus Research Library, on various items of historical and archival significance to the Marxist movement. The PRL acts as the central archive and research library of the Central Committee of the Spartacist League/U.S. Produced six bulletins from 1988 to the present. [Ongoing].
Hate Trotskyism, Hate the Spartacists – A bulletin series of opponent material containing documents by and polemics with various opponent organizations of the International Communist League (Fourth Internationalist) [the Spartacist tendency] published by the various sections of the ICL (FI). There exists one bulletin each from the Irish, South African, Italian, French, and Polish ICL Sections and three bulletins from the German section from 1990 to the present. [Status Unknown].
Boletins De La Grupo Espartaquista de Mexico – Bulletin series produced by the Grupo Espartaquista de Mexico [Spartacist Group of Mexico] on issues dealing with the Spanish-speaking and Latin American left. Produced three unnumbered bulletins from 1990 to 1996. [Status Unknown].
