The Soviets in International Organisations
Alvin Z. Rubinstein
Princeton University Press/OUP, 60s.
This is a book about the emergence of Russia from defensive isolation to intervention in the full range of world affairs, particularly in backward countries, as seen on the narrow stage of the United Nations. It is written in the ‘exposure’ style common to American Sovietology and Soviet Americanology. But, with 380 pages, it cannot but provide useful information for the specialist.
