PROPOSAL FOR THE INTERNAL ORGANIZATION OF THE SORBONNE

The Commissions:

1 – Each should have a chairman, two reporters and a secretary

2 – The time for work and discussion is to be limited

3 – The number of participants in the commission should be a maximum of 40 persons

4 – Before each meeting the commission must present its order of the day upon which the discussion will center

5 – During the session the doors to the meeting room shall remain closed to the public

6 – Once elected the reporters of the commissions are to be registered with the occupation committee and the committee for the coordination of commissions. The same goes for the chair of the commission.

7 – When the commission has finished its labors and adopted points, it is to make its report to the committees and then submit them to the General Assembly.

8 – There is to be a security service in front of each meeting room.

The assembly

1 – The sole and unique role of the General Assembly is to vote on the decisions taken by the different commissions.

2 – These decisions are to be spelled out by the reporters of each commission

3 – In order for order to be maintained no more people are to be admitted than the amphitheater can contain. Consequently, a security service is to be posted at the entry to the Assembly

The COMMITTEES

1 – Creation of a workers’ reception committee

2 – Of an information committee

3 – Of a coordinating committee of the work of the commissions

4 – The person in charge of the security service is to remain in contact with these three committees as well as the occupation committee of the Sorbonne.

5 – The committees, the security service, the medical service, and the dormitory are permanently open and in session
